On the afternoon of March 25, 2024, the Institute of Creativity and Innovation convened a meeting of all faculty and staff members. The meeting was chaired by Huang Chen, Deputy Dean of the ICI.
Qin Jian, Dean of ICI, introduced to all faculty and staff the rapid development of the faculty teams over the past three years. He pointed out that the XMU and UCA managers and faculty have frequently visited each other and held exchanges of views and information since 2023, continuously enhancing mutual understanding and advancing the implementation of various tasks. He emphasized the key work for the year 2024, saying that as the institute is set to have the first graduate cohort, he hoped that teachers should be fully involved in guiding the graduates’ final major projects, showcasing the institute's educational achievements with high-quality graduation exhibitions.
Philip Lambert, Associate Dean of the ICI, introduced several tasks planned for the year, including continuing to build the faculty team, strengthening academic exchanges between the two sides, implementing teaching upgrading plans, and actively exploring the practice of joint teaching.
Huang Chen, Deputy Dean of the ICI, introduced the newly recruited faculty and staff since 2023 and extended a warm welcome to them.
