ICI Holds Sub-Forum of 2025 "Nanqiang Youth Scholars Forum"On December 25, 2025, the Institute of Creativity and Innovation held a sub-forum of the 2025 "Nanqiang Youth Scholars Forum" at Zhangzhou Campus. The forum was presided over by Deputy Dean Gan Senzhong. Full-time faculty members from relevant disciplines attended the forum.


At the opening ceremony, Deputy Dean Gan Senzhong, on behalf of the institute, extended a warm welcome to the participating young scholars. He gave a comprehensive overview of the institute's development history, achievements in talent cultivation, and future plans, emphasizing the core concept that "talent is the primary resource."
Gan Senzhong noted that the institute attaches great importance to the recruitment and cultivation of young talents, and is committed to providing all-round support and a broad development platform for every faculty member who joins, to help them growand excel. He stressed that young faculty members are the backbone of the institute's development and expressed the institute's enthusiastic welcome to outstanding talents from across the globe.
In the following academic presentation session for young scholars, Ji Yifeng, a PhD candidate from Hiroshima University, Japan, delivered a report focusingon urban thermal environment. Ma Chenshuo, a PhD candidate from Harbin Institute of Technology, gave a wonderful presentation on spatial planning for urban renewable energy. Both presentations sparked lively and fruitful interactive exchanges with the on-site faculty members regarding the research contents, academic hotspots and other topics.


This forum served not only as a platform for academic exchange but also as an important window for the instituteto recruit talents globally. The institute will take this forum as an opportunity to continuously expand its talent recruitment channels, foster an open, inclusive, and collaborative academic atmosphere, gathermore outstanding global talents, and jointly write a new chapter in the high-quality and connotative developmentof the institute.
